Ve skute\u010dnosti ale \u201eMr. Brightside\u201c vznikl z chv\u00edle, kdy Brandon Flowers uvid\u011bl svou d\u00edvku s jin\u00fdm mu\u017eem, a ten obraz v n\u011bm z\u016fstal.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eMr. Brightside\u201c pat\u0159\u00ed k p\u00edsn\u00edm, kter\u00e9 u\u017e d\u00e1vno \u017eij\u00ed vlastn\u00edm \u017eivotem. Od vyd\u00e1n\u00ed v roce 2004 se z n\u00ed stal obrovsk\u00fd hit, kter\u00fd se dr\u017e\u00ed v r\u00e1di\u00edch, na ve\u010d\u00edrc\u00edch i v koncertn\u00edch setlistech. Pro The Killers znamenala pr\u016flom a pro spoustu poslucha\u010d\u016f jednu z nejv\u00fdrazn\u011bj\u0161\u00edch skladeb nult\u00fdch let. Za celou p\u00edsn\u00ed stoj\u00ed situace, kter\u00e1 byla pro Brandona Flowerse velmi nep\u0159\u00edjemn\u00e1. Brandon Flowers a kytarista Dave Keuning tehdy skl\u00e1dali spoustu materi\u00e1lu a sami c\u00edtili, \u017ee ne v\u0161echno obstoj\u00ed. Kdy\u017e si pustili album kapely The Strokes, do\u0161lo jim, jak vysoko cht\u011bj\u00ed m\u00ed\u0159it. M\u00edsto uspokojen\u00ed p\u0159i\u0161lo vyst\u0159\u00edzliv\u011bn\u00ed a za\u010dali sv\u00e9 n\u00e1pady tvrd\u011b prob\u00edrat. Na konci jim z\u016fstala i p\u00edse\u0148, kter\u00e1 se n\u00e1sledn\u011b stala tou kl\u00ed\u010dovou pro jejich \u00fasp\u011bch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flowers pozd\u011bji popsal, \u017ee se jednou v noci probudil s pocitem, \u017ee n\u011bco nen\u00ed v po\u0159\u00e1dku. Obl\u00e9kl se a vyrazil do klubu Crown and Anchor, kde na\u0161el svou p\u0159\u00edtelkyni s jin\u00fdm mu\u017eem. Pr\u00e1v\u011b z tohohle momentu se zrodil z\u00e1klad cel\u00e9 skladby. Nen\u00ed v n\u00ed velk\u00e9 drama do detailu, sp\u00ed\u0161 rychl\u00fd proud my\u0161lenek, \u017e\u00e1rlivosti a bezmoci. Flowers tuto zku\u0161enost p\u0159evedl do textu bez slo\u017eit\u00e9 obraznosti, co\u017e p\u00edsni hodn\u011b pomohlo.
